Agility Classes

Agility skills classes are available in the spring and summer as they are taught outdoors. The area is securely fenced.  In the first level, the obstacles and agility skills, such as targeting and following body and hand cues are introduced. The focus is on building the dog’s confidence to perform the obstacles.

Dog will learn how to jump using the Clothier method of jumping.  Enthusiasm will be built so that dogs perform agility happily and confidently. Simple two and three obstacle sequences and beginner handler skills will also be taught.

The second level agility skills class builds on the skills learned in the first level. The dogs are introduced to the teeter. Longer, more challenging sequences are introduced as well as more advanced handling skills.
