| My graduate work at The Ohio State University had its emphasis in human and animal learning, animal behavior, and comparative psychology. Upon entering the field, I completed a three-year internship in an animal behavioral clinic under the direction of David Tuber, PhD.
I have been training dogs in the Central Ohio area since 1982. I was the first trainer in the area to offer puppy classes and to train dogs using positive reinforcement. I have earned multiple AKC titles on several different breeds in obedience, rally, conformation, agility, and earthdog. I breed Border Terriers and have raised and trained terriers for many years. I am an AKC Earthdog judge. I am active in Border Terrier rescue. I am currently on the Board of the Border Terrier Club of America (BTCA) and the Treasurer of the Border Terrier Club of Central Ohio (BTCCO).
I have written articles and offer seminars and workshops on dog training and behavior.
As a teacher with many years in the classroom, I bring a unique combination of skills and experience to the dog training and behavioral consultation field.
