Border Terriers Needing Homes
My name is Lark. I am three years old. I have been back with my breeder for about two months. I was not getting along with the other girls in my house. I am very affectionate, but I take a while to warm up to you. My breeder is working with me on that.
She is taking me to class and she is letting me meet everyone that comes over to see her. This is a picture of me with Tonya and a puppy. My breeder thinks I'll be ready to adopt sometime this summer.

I am best suited to a female owner. I must have a fenced yard and an owner willing to continue to socialize me. I would do best with a smaller male dog (I'd love a Border buddy) that is outgoing and friendly. This way I will have a good role model! My fee is $650. I am AKC registered, spayed, updated on my shots and have a microchip. My breeder would like me to stay in Ohio.

My name is Mini Pearl. I am a Border Terrier. My foster mom got me out of a dog pound in New Lexington, Ohio. I was there with another dog and we had been wandering about for a while.

I have been spayed and had an inguinal hernia removed.

I am nine years old, very healthy and loving. I only weigh nine and a half pounds. I’d love to lie on your lap and play with you as well. Don’t let my age scare you …. most small dogs have a long life span! Now that I have been taken care of and am in a safe place, I’m sure I’ll live a long time, too.

I would best like a home with other small dogs like me that are mature and not wanting to rough house all of the time. I think I’d be perfect for a senior who wants to have a sweet dog around to love.  I don’t even think I’d mind having a cat or two around as long as they’ll share the couch with me.

Mini Pearl was adopted. She is pictured here with her new owner. She goes for daily walks and even went to the Scottish games. We wish you the best, Pearl!

This is Mitzi. She was pulled from a pound in Powell, Kentucky. I got her on New Year's eve. She is young, under a year old. She has been spayed, updated on her vaccinations, tested for heartworm (negative results) and in good health. She is currently in my home. She is on her way to being housebroken and is participating in obedience classes.

Mitzie has been adopted. She is enjoying life with a male dog named Pete and Connie and her son. Good luck Mitzi!
This is Bella. She is 5 years old. She lost her home because her owners did not take the time to train her. She is a very sweet dog, but needs someone to pay attention to her. She has been allowed to take charge. This is a photo of her before she was stripped.
This is Bell after she was stripped. She can be with well mannered dogs. She hangs out with my oldsters but has yet to play with anyone. She is spayed, current on all of her shots and microchipped.
She loves racket balls and rarely is without one. She has trained my husband to throw the ball for her. She is very SMART! One will need to stay two steps ahead of her. Bella would be a great pet for someone who has an active lifestyle.  Bella's adoption fee is $300.00. Her fee will go to the BTCCO rescue fund to help other rescues.
Bella went home with her new owners on July 15th. When they drove away, she had her ball in her mouth.  and was sitting on Meghan's lap. I wish I had had my camera then! Meghan and Jeremy tell me that she is doing very well. She is behaving like an angel and keeping them busy with walking and playing with her ball. Be good, little Bell!
